Software Anaylst/System Administrator

Under guidance of the senior IT staff, your responsibilities will include providing technical support including advanced desktop support, tier 1 support for: servers, networking equipment, VoIP and data transport networks. Monitoring, tuning & troubleshooting problems with small to medium business networks, related systems and software components.

Perform desktop & Software support for all varieties of problems. This will require troubleshooting and in depth telephone support to analyze and resolve reported problems. Evaluate network outages and problem situations, resolving as required. Work with the technical support team members to resolve reported trouble incidents and ensure timely resolution. Responsible for monitoring open trouble incidents and network components to ensure timely resolution.


  • Proven systematic approach to problem solving and product design.
  • Open, clear, and rigorous communication practices. Experience in communicating and working with cross-functional teams that are globally deployed is required.
  • Extensive, in-depth knowledge of computer hardware, Windows 7, 8 and 10 (Server 2008/2012)
  • Computer Hardware troubleshooting experience (Desktop, Laptop, Printers, EMC, Cisco, etc.)
  • Virtual Machine Technology (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V)
  • Familiarity with the Autodesk product line (Revit, AutoCAD, Navis)
    • Exceptional communication skills required
    • Understanding of computer networks and telecommunications systems preferred
    • Good documentation skills
    • Strong general computer skills
    • Familiarity with MS Office products required

Skills/Qualifications: Analyzing Information, General Programming Skills, Software Debugging, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, 5 years of experience working in a help desk/system support position.
